VR Week 1 - CCIXR Tour & Setting Up


I toured the CCIXR suite and saw the motion capture and photogrammetry rig. I thought of some ways I could apply this technology, specifically the photogrammetry, to my project. I could scan some small objects that I could then optimise and put into my unreal engine world. I most likely wont use the motion capture rig in this project, but it'd be great for me to use in personal projects.


After this, I got setup with the VR headset, but encountered a problem where I couldn't package the project for android, which meant I couldn't run it on the headset.  This is because there is either no existing or an outdated android SDK on the university computers.
